Outcome:
- BayNel were recently appointed by a global healthcare technology business to support them in completing the Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Assessment and a Carbon Reduction Plan in line with PPN06/21.
- Both requirements enable our client to engage with the NHS on their sustainability journey and understand how to align with the NHS net zero and sustainability ambitions.
- The gap analysis highlighted key areas for improvement to help the client enhance their maturity score and evolve their current ESG strategy. BayNel are proud to continue supporting the client on their journey, including refreshing their existing strategy and developing sustainable supply chain assessments.

Outcome:
- BayNel were appointed to support one of the largest cashback sites in the UK in developing their carbon footprint and reporting methodology, enabling them to calculate their carbon emissions and identify areas for improvement.
- Our client had been using a free carbon calculator for several years but wanted to better understand their Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and develop a robust carbon reduction plan.
- The work provided a 2022 baseline that allows the client to set targets for improvement and prioritise carbon reduction activities.
Client Sector: Industrial Manufacturing
Services Delivered:
- Six-month interim support
Outcome:
- BayNel were appointed on a short-term contract to provide support to the Director of Sustainability.
- Support services included a gap analysis of GHG reporting, development of a GHG inventory, and drafting guidance on issues such as renewable energy procurement and carbon offsetting. The work helped improve data quality and enabled the creation of a credible net zero strategy.
